Fiveways, I'm going for a sorta scavenged high-tech retro look all over, but with the girls it'll be more retro. it was described on ga.org as Buck Rogers meets Dead Space, and I think that's definately how i want to push it. Well Bioshock would be your most obvious port of call. Art deco style was popular well before the 50s, but there's still plenty you'll be able to pick up from it in terms of general retro undersea environment art. From there, just doing a search for retro-futurism will give you the 50s sci-fi flavouring. -

@Stinger88 Thanks! I use FL Studio for the DAW, and Massive, Serum, Kontakt for the majority of the synths. I might have sent New Retro Wave some tunes, but they said no because it didn't quite fit the sound. Maybe my sound is a bit too modern for them? Then again, it might have been another 'retro ____' YouTube channel…
