If you paypal me some money, I will upload the coveted Racer 445 AK tutorial, with a bonus track from me filled with brand new misinformation updated for 3DS Max 2012, hot hot hot
Nah, you could get it for maybe 345 or 340, but honestly, that's not worth the risk for something as valuable as this. Just get it at newegg. Or via eBay, of course, but don't try any weird sites over a 2-3% discount.
My PowerMac 7600 is in my closet. I'll be using Maya 6.0 on a G5 Mac at School Starting Jan 21st.......Last Mac OS I used was 8.5....OS 10 might freak me out.
Pretty old project - tried to make it in 1-2 days. You can watch full video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFkBHigEOdE&t=445s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gI5zsRZvmJQ
Hi Polycount! This is my first project post, and I was hoping to get some feedback and critiques. This is a portfolio piece based on concept art for The Illusionist, found here (image 145). Please critique anything, though the things I'm less confident on are composition and lighting.
Vehicle #09 texturing/uvs/modeling completed. This is the asset rendered in the Unity Game Engine. The vehicle is loosely based around a Focus RS racing vehicle. This model came in at 875 polygons and a 512 x 512 texture map.
Unless you're a competitive gamer I definitely suggest the Logitech Performance Mouse MX. It's a little expensive but works like a charm and is rechargeable. I love it. http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/mice-pointers/mice/devices/5845
I was trying to do this the other day too. The best way I've found is to use the plugin jocose just posted. (I use maya) The only problem is I can't get the damn thing working in maya 8.5 :(
Oh yeah I forgot to mention. I am not sure how many of you have already heard this but Maya 8.5 will feature Python as well. Should open up some nice stuff for tool development in Maya.
I use it primarily to convert .obj into .x. Works great so far. I put a lot of Maya models into unrealEd this way, for some reason I can't get any unreal exporter to work in maya 8.5.
