@pior heh, actually this guy is one of my references for rendering too :) thats funny :) I got sth I kinda like working in vray. I can pm you if you are interested. I dont want to make it public yet since its all wip.
This is an asset i made for the game i'm working on (they let me design it so bring it ooon, lets practice hardedges) this is a kind of team color checkpoint (i can't really say more about that) . still in wip (need some specular fixes and crazybump pass for scratches and stuff)
Spark - is that omething for TF2? Animations are really lifelike, perhaps more antenna movement though. :D WIP Untilted UT2004 project, trying to make quick modular assets that light well when vertex lit and fit with existing theme. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wv5UW46yqq0[/ame]
hi there! good to see theres really good stuff in here, both 2d & 3d... seriously by looking the posts I am surprised by the talent of many polycounters, I am sort of new to polycount, but I'll try to post some of my wip's as well... hope you like them ;)
Damn a lot of good stuff on here... Vitor/adamlewis> > damn. Nice renders. Pig/Kite> Sheeeit. Actually kite, I think that balloon ripped his feet off... :/ Still very wip. Been learning a lot of new tools. my head hurts. crits appreciated though
I started doing some work on the upper body today, still very WIP : One question though, does anyone happen to know if there is a quick way in Zbrush to model cloth detail as seen in this picture : (Image property of : Manny Llamas) Or is that something I should leave for the texturing phase?
Some may have seen this in the Technical Talk section. Its a simple singleplayer space RTS demo. It currently has 3 types of ships you can build, fighter with blasters, fighter with beam weapon, and 1 frigate with torpedoes. heres the current wip: Windows Standalone Unity WebPlayer
My first post in the 2010 thread! :) Just some quick WIP shots of my Pawn for the mini comp over at GA. I'm doing a zombie based on this concept by John Grello. Clothes are just blocked in to give me an idea of where I should focus on detailing. Crits welcome.
Working on Portfolio! First is from a photo refrence from a town ten mins from here. This may not make it in but I have to start and learn so I can have work that far surpasses what I "learned" in school. Thread is http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?t=69819 WIP Image:
I love this thread and hate it in equal measure for the soul destroying level of talent on display by the community.....so much cool stuff :) anyways heres a wip shot of the ugly mug that I'm revisiting at the moment.....armpits need much sorting but that can wait for tomorrow now....wow that was a random sentence :D
