Never stop learning, as long as you have that mindset you will always be able to adapt to the changes in technology. When VFX "took over" stop-motion animation the people who wanted to simply started to learn and transition into the digital medium instead.
should be fine at that res... im sure i copy and paste 2k maps all the time...it may be that your computers running low on spare memory...after a hard days slog copy and paste sometimes stops working full stop
I would argue its a typical rookie mistake, not to spend enough time on the lower and medium detail levels and just slapping on details. Those sculpts will not look better with microdetail slapped on top, not even if its the great XYZ pores. The biggest issue here, is like others said, grounded in the lack of anatomical…

ugh they still use that same voting system, its the sole reason why I stopped doing the mini comps and ultimately, stopped visiting GA :/ Oh well not gonna force myself to use that crap, but I'll still admire the awesome art!
Thanks for replying! I didn't get the question, did you mean to ask if I'm updating stuff on AS using the work experience I gained from my previous employment when I have time/inclination to do so? To answer I'd say its a mix of the work experience I gained, as in once I was done with my contract I looked for ways to…
@SnowInChina Yeah the 650D is old with a pretty crappy Canon sensor. Canon sensors are generally pretty bad compared to Sony ones, especially the old ones. I think Canon has started to use Sony sensors recently, at least in some of their cameras. Overall, the A7III is an amazingly good camera for the money. Saying that, if…
