Specs cpu wise doesn't look that powerful. Its using a 600 vs 800 snapdragon. Qualcom recommends 800 for smart tv's. That being said, still more powerful than 1st gen Ouya.
I know that everybody says SH2 is the best. but I still liked sh4 a lot other than the voice acting. SH5 is awesome except that it is too short for me and the graphics are not up to next gen standards
For that kind of money I would think you'd be better off getting a custom build, so you can be assured of the build components. And I'd avoid MSI, having had a previous gen GT70, not impressed.
On top of what everyone else said, i would replace the knife as there is a tutorial on how to make it http://cgi.tutsplus.com/tutorials/next-gen-weapon-creation-part-1-the-high-poly-model--cg-782
sick... hangin out for the vid now. Really aren't enough current/next gen gun tutorials out, and this one looks awsome. bakelite is also released into all passages and pipes up to section 803... >_>
Yeah but with the lack of graphical innovation lately it'd be hard to differentiate and have an incentive to other than 'ok new gfx now play cod u kidz'. Nintendo could probably pull forward this gen.
1st gen of textures were much better in terms of low-frequency detail. Colours and materials were good. All you needed was adding wear and tear, along with a well loved spec map (colour).
I havent bought it yet, but do you guys really consider these graphics all that dated? From what I saw it seemed a step above HL2, and I still consider that pretty current gen.
Just finished these next gen characters, it is for a paintball game. I tried to raise the quality as much as i could to reach the quality of EA characters such as those that appear in the NBA and NHL games. Rendered in marmoset and maya.
Daz I totally agree with that pet peeve. Playing Rainbow 6 Vegas there are some interior areas that suffer from that. Next gen textures don't look so hawt when all lighting is removed.
