I stopped progress as I had to move, and have only just got my setup somewhat back in order. I have started to get back on the sculpt by; * Adding the star brandishing on the upper torso * Raise and wrap the collar closer to the characters head. * Sculpting the fingers onto the hand. -

I think it's the issue Stradigos is describing. The F-key for Frame Selection will zoom the current camera to fully show your currently selected object (or entire scene if nothing is selected?). Yeah. Gotten plenty of time with various handguns at the local indoor ranges. I don't know about other states / areas, but I do know around here you're required to go with another person. It was a (rather smart) thing they started requiring to cut down on the number of suicides that were happening. Japan's anti-gun rules… -

Using a smart blur or surface blur over a photo ref definitely gives you a good start point. Using a square brush helps a lot as well, I actually use the square brush for almost everything I do, not just the painterly stuff. frell, your stuff looks a bit soft, try being bolder with your strokes, and don't be too afraid to… -

Displacement? I would think spec or ao, I'll have to play around with disp. I usually ignore it. Crazybump is a great way to start off a metal spec map too. Only go pretty dark and use crazybump to work the edge detail a little lighter gray. The only problem with Crazybump is that it tends to over do it on UV shell seams…
