Background modular pieces are 95%done. they need some texture filling. Foreground buildings on the right are close to finished. There are some missing textures and some leftover modeling on the grocery. I'll place these things in engine when they're fully textured.
You're asking two questions: Specialization of skillset, and specialization in production. Its fine to have preferences in what you like to make, but not so great if you can't step outside of that if needed. And, if you're in a production environment and you're the one person in the company who knows a certain workflow,…
I'm working on a 80s B-movie/Miami Vice inspired character for a 2.5D platformer shooter. The hires sculpt is 95% done but i'm having trouble with the fabric creases and hair, the face and might need some revision as well. Any constructive criticism or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Model I have been working over at 3d total. ITs coming together well, im %95 done or so. Just need to test shaders, and then UV map, texture, render. Hope you like it, original design....and I need sleep =) http://ajdinbarucija.blogspot.com/

Nice ride. I looked into getting the same car earlier this year. Unfortunately, the style you chose is the higher end version and I couldn't afford it So I went with an '06 Jetta, which I've been happy with (I had a '95 Jette prior)
Zbrush has a see through mode which will reveal anything behind it ..like your reference. It helps with quick ref alignments for things like faces. Go to you lowest subD and hit wireframe and put see-through to 95. Keep at it.
So after being away to long due to school, I managed to free up some time to finish up the 416. She is 95% done with just a few touchings and some cleanup and then it is off to low poly. Art dump to follow:
Ubisoft were talking about a 93%-95% PC game piracy rate as justification for their draconian DRM. That's probably an exaggeration, but the numbers are up there. Incidentally Frell, if you pirated GTA4 I can't say that I'm overly sympathetic to your plight.
