[ QUOTE ] Don't make a vague man with dante's hair and sword, if you want dmc's dante. Make dante. His arms, his torso, his legs, his feet, his face, etc. [/ QUOTE ] I don't really understand that, can you clarify?
ye daz! i might raise the corner of the mouth a little, its a little too "middle" to my taste. but wahtever i like it! i think the dilemma uve been having with his face can be resolved with the lazy artists's favorite saying: "less is more"
It's supposed to be an older woman right Daz? I'd push the verts in her neck a bit, right now she has a tight neck that doesn't quite match her aged face. Slap a sub surface scattering shader onto her and you got another winnar!
Oh not at all, very helpful. Every wrinkle I made on the face made it look like a shrivled fetus. So yea, any help is greatly appreciated . Thats where I am as of now, but with that paintover, I definatly want to go back and wrinkle it up a bit.
Painting fun in Zbrush: will make the details in PS. Its for my UT3 rodents factions. @ gavku Very cool, the facial features are great! @ East Nice character The wrinkles in the crotch area looking strange and your lightning setup needs shadows because the bright light in the face is unrealistic.
b1ll: sweet. fuse: lookin' spiffy. i really like the torso/upper arms. the face looks a little too bony for his body, though. and the metal parts look nice too. I'm actually not 100% finished yet. just playing around with some presentation for the 'folio.

Damn Makkon, I'm really digging your work lately. I think you should make the bottom pair of eyes more to the side like an herbivore's, and the top pair more facing front like a carnivore's. Sort of give him an evolutionary reason for having two sets.
thanks guys Ferg : i'm gonna keep her face quite quiet looking. but i agree. needs some love Spug : much of the credit has to go to Spacey. it's really just that slinky form he started that i'm developing off . something with a bit more meat :
[ QUOTE ] cool stuff fuse, don't hold back so much on your details and ideas, go mental!! Great texture Johnny, doesn't look to intimidating to me though, more like a corporate accountant gone angry . "Soft" face Here goes one of mine Started the model and then thought it would be time to learn to rig and animate. No…
