Can you show your model in the prospective view along with the wireframe on it? Also Texture map is a plus. Thanks. Looks good so far, nice work by the way.
thanks low odor ill definitly do that with the bricks, heres some more shots and a wireframe of the ornament on top, hi poly = 39891 tris, low poly = 1454.
Like everyone else has already said: presentation. I'd especially like to see them all with some proper wireframes going on. Seriously awesome work man.
ok, here's the newer version. It's still a work in progress. I added more detail to the map and made more of the black cloth into blue. And i added the wireframe model.
Sometimes Max's Direct3D driver goes awol on me, showing inverted normals, displaced wireframes, etc. A cold boot fixes it for me, no harm done to the file itself.
Rebb, Butt_sahib - Thanks for replying guys. I went and merged the vertices around the areas just in case, I think they were ok before, and here's a wireframe shot:
Did you triangulate the mesh before baking? If not, my guess is it's due to applications triangulating differently. Best give just more information (wireframe, UVs, Normalmap) to reduce the guesswork. Ideally attach a problematic part so people can reproduce it on their end.
This is my lastest model. No texture yet. This time I post the wireframe of the model. (Thanks you Daz for teaching me the method). What you are seeing is the model after Lv1 subd smoothing.
