The other presets just seem to merely either do nothing or just add a tint. Is it due to me not having enough maps or something? My hardsurface model has a normal map baked off of a hi poly, and ambient occlusion. The curvature map was generated in ddo.
Typically when duplicating an object it's done in the world center of Maya, so as when you do a CTRL+D the duplicates align and a simple a merge will suffice. What if you want to duplicate around an object perfectly as I'm trying to do in this scene. Any suggestions how can this be accomplished ?
Multi-object property editing is not currently possible but this something we may add in the future. The easiest thing to do would be merge them into one mesh. That shouldn't cause any problems with the UVs.
create images and then use a tool to merge them into a single PDF. For text heavy documents that need good design I usually turn to Office's Publisher - it's like Word with decent layout abilities.
It looks like you still have split normals on some of the leaf planes, did you merge all of your canopy geometry into one mesh before trying to run normal thief?
Actually, after discussing with a friend, i wonder if the 3rd announcement is a combination of the previous 2. Maybe presenting an 'official' box (merging the 2 prev together). And that announcement will include the specs/controller/name.
Thank you very much for the reply! I already knew about creating a template scene, but merging scenes was actually what I was looking for. Anyway, looking forward to the next Toolbag update :)
Thanks I'm making a nude mesh for figure reasons. Something is up with the neck and the back, and i'm not sure if merging the hair verts with the neck is a good idea yet crits/paintovers/vertexovers appreciated
I get this error whenever I merge and delete objects from a scene where I have used the shader on other objects. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Works great except for that :) Uploaded with ImageShack.us
@WarrenM I asked a permission in a Q&A thread before posting it) And the answer was - I can, but the focus will be on the screenshots anyway) @Jerc yeah, it's ok) the video is more like the explanation how the stuff works)
