Valkyrie Entertainment is looking for model/texture artists with normal map experience for work on several different projects. On-site here in Seattle is preferable but if you kick serious ass we might consider off-site. Max or Maya experience is a must, Z-brush knowledge a plus, blabla bla usual spiel goes here Only…
Man, this is rape. Polycount seems to have so much power in this art world, don't you guys think? This thread gets made, 12 hours later he has taken his site down completely and is banned at the largest concept art site. The industry is so small, a name gets burned in your mind it won't leave for a while :P
I'm sure it's just an unintentional byproduct of the way you have set up your site, but the first image on the front page is concept art you didn't do. That's pretty misleading to a potential employer. I would probably cull the WIP stuff till its finished, it can give the impression that you are not committed if there are…
Mostly 3 reasons: Facebook has never done anything hardware related Facebook has had chances to get into casual gaming but never has, and they just dove straight into a hardcore pc gaming peripheral. Poeple feel like facebook is going down hill, and like any social media site, it could get replaced by a different…
Indeed is probably the last place you want to look for a job in games. I didn't even bother checking that site. here's a list of all the sites I used. http://www.cgmeetup.net/home/jobs/ gameguzzler.com gamasutra.com polycount.com creativeheads.net http://www.gamejobhunter.com/jobs/art/ cgsociety.org 3djobs.com…
Third time's the charm? Qubism disliked my site enough to contact me and was so inspired by it all that he just remade it for me! I think he did a fine job. Thanks Tom!! I'll be passing your site to anyone looking for design work for certain. For anyone interested you can still view the old one here: tylersart.com/green
Yeah, all great but what happens when the developer says: "I don't like this game anymore, i won't write another line of code on this thing." If the site did not send the money through to the developer, the whole concept is lost. So if the site did give the developer the money, the investor lost it. I don't know about you…
hmm, on review of the user guide at his site it dosen't look to work as I thought, I suppose you can check it out though. I do think that the updated iphysique exposure plug is what you need to make martinez's script work anyway, so you can get that from his site if not his version of the mirror script.
i also book marked your site, dude. i'm really liking it! some crits on scale... might want to make the "choose catagory" bar a tad bigger. i missed it my first time thru the site. as well as your name. larger. the colors look great on my monitor! i'm diggin the renders and the work overall. keep it up, man!
I remember getting an email of some guy to work on that mod.. some of the sketches looked cool but the whole thing looked way to amature ! like a school kid had an idea for a game, made a web site and then invited a bunch of people to do it for him lol... mabey not just the impression i got from thier site.. dont remember…
