Do you have a concept you were working from? Proportionally, your arms need to be longer. If you notice on your own body, see how your hands come down to halfway down your thigh. To make your character feel proportionally better, it should be the same. Your face feels wonky, but it's hard to tell how. Were you working from… -

Basically the process is correct. Though not as straight forward as it might sound. For example it makes a lot of sense to create the base mesh for the character.
