The thing that bug me about the new design is the lack of 'polycount' font. It isn't so much the smiley itself its the fact that seems to be primarily the "face" (punt intended) of polycount when it always seemed to be the font.
thanks guys, I see what you are talking about with the skin texture, I had actually noticed it before and intended on changing it but it slipped my mind during all of the other last minute changes.
Thanks for the reply! I had intended this to be a part of a much larger scene where everything is fairly lowpoly. I guess I will just have to explore some other render engine options for now. Thanks again.
Sorry for the late responce, but yes I have two shaders, one with and one without Pixel Depth Offset. Dosn't seem like either of them work as intended though, at least not with the blue channel. I'll keep looking into it, for now the red channel seems to work for some reason. I'm assuming since your test was also using…
Wow, this is fantastic. Such a creative idea. Your concept work is beautiful, and I absolutely love the simplistic style of the chair. Even though simple, it reads exactly as intended, like a modern seat of power
Still working on it, slowly but surely. I intend to finish it in time and I should work on it A LOT tomorrow. Ditched the green glow for a blue one and it works much better, I must agree.
Awesome news Tv! I intend to do a final post near the end of the month with all my submissions in the proper format for you. this assuming i get more than one done :/
I second Aphrodite X, you can go completely bananas with a cyborg on their last legs (no pun intended), completely shattered, mustering the final slivers of energy left for one last attack...
I feel like my question was TOO dumb that noone can even understand what I intended to do, duh. I'm not expirienced in texturing or in 3d overall, I'm sorry for that. Thanks.
looking nice, I like the atmosphere you've created. very fanasty-esque, if my made up word makes sense. Do you intend to use this for a game, or is it more for a demonstration of skills?
