You sound like you're in a crisis of not having established a target platform. What generation/system do you want to target? @SLOT, you can do at any resolution in SP since it's procedural, you can paint and 512 or 1k and export at 4k, works just fine. A lot of Vista's perceived problems were abysmal drivers and computers shipping with pitiful amounts of RAM. If you just install 7 on machines that ran Vista badly, it runs almost as poorly. Going the Kinect route would be great, since we get realtime feedback. I'll see if I can wrangle work into getting one.
