Great modelling and overall structure, but I feel like the lighting is a mixed bag. Sometimes it looks great, like an old Resident Evil game. But at other times is looks entirely too bright, uniform, and overexposed for being a spooky mansion.
thx guys. yeah, i think for an old guy, he might have lost a bit too much skin tone. the skin needs to be more transluscent i thinks. gonna tweak it a bit more when Im home.
How old is he supposed to be? Maybe add more of a '5 o'clock' shadow. From the side, it looks like he's wearing blush or something. That's probably what is giving the female feel. Maybe thicken up the eyebrows some too
The old theme set to wide seems to make general browsing better (seems maybe 80px too wide now?) but it breaks far worse when images are inlined. If someone were to make a polycount.BLACK.narrow at 900px they would be my hero.
hah me too At some points when i saw interesting threads on PC i saved them to html on the old board, I should dig them up again, i got at least one tubboy thread
Alright, I finally got around to finding something nice and challenging for you guys. I hope the movie isn't too obscure. Its one of my old favourites. ... I'll reveal some more tomorrow night. Full reveal: Surely someone has seen it?
Starting to pick back up on this project just in time for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 :) Starting with overhauling the likeness as I wasn't too happy with the way it was before. Hoping it's moving in a bit of a better direction now. Old on the left, new on the right :)
I see someone has been going through the sdk thread ;) But I don't think anyone minds too much digging up an old thread like this if theirs content to add to it. Edit: Hey scuba, long time no see!
Hey guys, Decided to start posting here too, wasn't 2D and 3D WAYWO merged in the old days? Anyway, here's a finished fan-art I made of Divinity: Original sin (all characters and designs belong to Larian Studios)
Heh, you're right about the matte surface on old planks; I had a look today. More research next time!! If anything I'm too keen on the fresnel effect :D Short value studies today, thinking about settings:
