Nice start. Agree with JamesBrisnehan. The size and intensity of your cloth wrinkles suggest thicker material than we are used to seeing on these clothing types. Also the rib cage looks a little deflated from the side view.
@Shyralon: I made 4 large rocks, 6 medium sized rocks and 7 small ones. They are fully closed and have different visual features on each side so I can freely rotate them.
I think you have to try little mini side projects to address any problems you are having. some big projects require a huge range of skills, so it might be better to break it down in to bite size chunks
Cool illustrations! I really don't like the side scrolling on your site though. A simple vertical format would be better imo. Also you might be better off at http://www.conceptart.org/forums/ Polycount is kind of for game art ;)
A clean front and side view wireframe (no hair) can help get a better technical crit. Female faces are hard enough as it is, a perspective view with hair polygons all over it doesn't do much for crits, but great for hiding errors.
