Cleaner weapons, not as much wear and tear as FC3, reference being 80-90s scifi movies where most weapons are clean (robocop, total recall, terminator and so on) More basic materials to emulate the props used in those movies. Sorry if you were disappointed by them.
the cool thing about the game is that ALL fo the weapons are powerfull. just like real life, a bullet is a bullet. The main difference is how many you can shoot in a certain amout of time, or how accurate they are. there are much more powerful weapons, but those come later in the game.
Hi to all polycounters, my last work is an assault rifle loosely based on a Deus Ex 3 weapon (FR-27 I guess), I've just finished the hi-poly version, and before start working on the low-poly I wanted to ask you for some advices\opinions about my work, thanks in advice. These are the screen of the weapon:
Hi all, I'm still rather new to Polycount, but I have just submitted my first weapon to the Dota2 Workshop. This weapon was made for the August competition. I will be updating this thread with future works. I am always open to feedback, so never hold back. -Aitnar Submitted items Dragons Scorn by Aitnar Death's Crown by…
Yeah, I did plan some props. So far I thought about doing a satchel, a blunt weapon, a sharp weapon, some kind of cloth to wipe blood off and something to light her way at night. But yeah, didn't think about something to make fire, could be good.
Wushu Inspired Juggernaut Weapon... Planning on a red to orange color scheme coming from the dragon's mouth, with yellow highlighting the edge like in the default juggernaut weapon. Still undecided on color scheme of dragon and handle. Beginning retopo now, hoping I can get this all under 300 x)
Hey guys, Here is a new weapon I designed as a personal project affectionately known as "The B***h Stick". Finally got around to texturing one of my old low poly weapon models :) view it full size here: http://m1.behance.net/rendition/modules/111437931/fs/e292ef5b2afb614e94cecfa5620331cb.jpg
Awesome spark! The stitched troll thing looks like it has bone weapons coming out if his back. I was thinking it would be cool to have a monster that grows it's own weapons/tools hehe. I've been working on a drawing for my bro for Christmas. been doing som character sketches:
wow these are really sweet my only complaint is that maybe the weapon looks too similar to the starcraft 2 marine weapon, and combined with a similar bulky armor design, it kinda feels too related but thats being picky The dynamite of the one guy could be bone shaped that be a nice touch ; )
Yup, I agree! Don't really see any reason for it to be a 'joke item'. The materials look really nice, but I agree with darkkyo that it looks more as a bludgeoning weapon. Still, I think it's a original weapon for Slark, very different from every other knife made for him.
