Join the club, isn't surprising when those born before the gaming generation don't tend to see games as a form of art. They tend to take more pride when their sons or daughters are doctors, or armed forces or asbestos salemen, etc etc ;D
The highpoly raw mesh of the gun will still need textures somehow... It cant be vert paint since you'll need multiple channels for different values of specular/roughness/etc. etc. It'll most likely need a ridiculously high res texture a la megascans.
So the "be careful of thinking in a black and white mentality" post is being completely ignored.. If you imagine the "opponent" to simply want to destroy and harm people/slow down economic progress/etc etc for no reason, you may want to be a little more open to viewpoints
@Dethling better but still doesn't look good. Basically every border edge looks wrong and it can be fixed by baking with hard edges, split UVs etc etc but synced workflow is about getting good results without going through all these motions.
I'm looking for a netbook, too. I'd be purchasing one for my brother who is looking to do serious (novels/scripts/etc) writing on it while outside smoking/in bars/etc. Has anyone used one for writing something more complex than notes?
Yeah looking really really good! Yeah personally I don't like the blood and the body. You could have blood, just less of it and more detailed. Hand prints, bloody dragmarks etc etc. Other than that, really digging the clean look!
Guys please stop smoking, Its grose.. Your going to die.. You'll have lung and heart dieseases, trouble breathing etc etc.. Please stop smoking i don't wanna see you guys like a horrible life O-o
Hello to all. I only recently found Polycount while searching for tutorials, tips, hints, etc, etc. on anything Substance Designer & Painter as I am a new user. Really impressed with all the work here so decided to sign up. Cheers!
From what I've read, only SLI compatible games use the power of two video cards, it's not like you get exactly double the speed, the software has to work with the hardware. I'm wondering if the performance boost will work with maya, zbrush, etc etc.
