Substance vs Zbrush for panel lines
I’ve been trying to create panel lines in ZBrush, but they’re still coming out jagged, even with a mesh subdivided to around 25 million polys. is there a better method for getting clean panel lines in ZBrush? Or should i just handle them directly in Substance instead? i have modelled my model in maya, and have imported it… -

Pdf or doc, I'd say. But if you go with pdf, at least make use of it and don't just bung a whole lot of black text on a white background and call it a day. It might also be a good idea to have it viewable online in an html-page in addition to having a link to a doc/pdf -

Looks like you didn't link your bones together. Link the jigglebone to the bip_head and it should be resolved. Also on the idle model, don't use an idle from a completely different hat. Just put the name of your hat's .smd in there and it'll be fine. If your hat is named "teacup.smd" then put "teacup.smd" as your idle. -

ya the way your topology is set up right now might make it hard to get those pieces but if you plan to bake it you can just use this is a your lowpoly.. or you can break your model up into dif pieces where the dif shells are if that makes since :D lots of dif ways to make the cracks -
