I cannot for the life of me figure out how to unwrap this thing. Designed to be some sort of lookout tower. I learned a lot about creating models while doing this! I discovered a handy trick for quickly duplicating vertices: Extrude by 0, then scale the vertices down. Verts: 36 Edges: 128 Tris: 88
I got in touch with the JS_Panoramic plug-in creator and to delete the ID problem he sent to me new file. In the JS_panoramic.mi file just add a new line after ) on line 36 with : #: nodeid 7777072 # Node ID for binary Maya files He also explained the plug-in could create some error on OS 64 bits...
[ QUOTE ] I've stuck with Sony TVs for 10 years and I'm always really happy with them. [/ QUOTE ] Hell yeah. In the last decade, I've bought a 20" trinitron, a 36" first-gen WEGA, a 32" third-gen WEGA and a 50" first-gen Grand WEGA SXRD. Everyone has been a kickass display.
At 36 tris, You could easily afford those handles in most situations on DS. I'd agree with Jeffro. you could spend plenty more polys if you're pitching for PSP. Granted most of the models don't need it, but it wouldn't hurt to make the pill bottle 5-sided and give the med cupboard opening doors and an inside.
borough market would be a good place to hit for lunch one day, there's such a variety you wont know what to choose. In fact i'll be going there for lunch today :P It's easy to get there from London Bridge tube. Also they do chocolate brownie mountains :D http://farm1.static.flickr.com/36/114355633_e566c610fb.jpg?v=0
one more quick question, would i be able to get away with a 650 watt? Otherwise im overbudget with the i7 and have to go for the amd. Edit: Actually the card needs a min of 36 amps at 12 v... http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=140&bid=2&sid=37912 Perhaps?
Hey I deserve to be slapped in my face. I overlooked, the tgas was 2048x2048. With 1024 it works. But still, 3x2048x2048 takes 36 MB on hard drive and about 76MB VRAM - and my 256MB RAM card is not able to handle it NM displays only when VRAM usage is around 32MB or below. Same with/without alpha channels.
@oglu Thank you for your reply. Is that the only way to show the textures? I'm not looking into viewport rendering, I simply want to check to see how the textures are applied on my model in the viewport without rendering every single time. (0:02) I want to be able to see the textures applied on the model like this robot in…
It was a total nightmare. Worse is that in Cali you have to take a written test. They didn't tell my wife or I untill right before they handed us the test though. So I had to retake it once. You could only miss 6 out of 36 on your first time through and only 3 tries that day! But, it's done and hopefully I can avoid that…
Or just finishing up something I started last year, It's about 90% done, hopefully this weekend I can clean up the last few bits of this. I started this almost 2 months ago for CG chat's 36 comp, the supervillian one. Any crits are more than welcome though I am aware of the seams and the unfinished bits like the fingers…
