@rollin: the king crab was really fun to work on and i know a lot of the fans of MWO were looking forward to finally getting it in-game. @ged: i haven't really used maya for my high-poly workflow so im not sure how powerful it is compared to 3ds max. but yeah seeing what tor frick is able to do in such a short time with…
i'm really excited for the team, i think they've done a fantastic job on the game, it is fun. it doesn't hurt that i'm a huge diablo fan. i hope those that get to play it will enjoy it enough to pick up a copy. demo can be found here as well 3dgamers: url: http://www.3dgamers.com/games/titanquest/downloads gamershell:…
NT and zel, thanks yah, she is a WoW Night Elf some fan art i guess. I put some of the pieces in there that would make her recognizable as a NE (boob hook things), while still being able to come up with my own stuff. I want to keep pretty true to the wow ne, and have some fun at the same time
Hello, so I have started making a fan art for Hellboy to learn how to capture the "look" of a character since its important if I want to join the industry. But now I'm stuck, I'm not sure how to progress or figure out what is wrong or missing and I would like to ask for some feedback to help me finally complete the project…
Welcome Bob, scrolling your credits reads like a who's who tent-pole 'dream team' selection for the best part of 30yrs, especially for nerdy folk (...which certainly includes me :# ) that are enamored with scifi/disaster/apoc/fantasy content and may I add particularly mechanical hard surface stuff so hope your time here is…
Thanks everyone! Guess it's weird to do diffuse only in Allegorithmic's contest, but for me it's just the most fun to do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Doing lots of fixing, was trying alpha planes for the fur tufts on the back vs spikes of geo but alpha wasn't doing it for me. His face is still bugging me, will be adjusting all the way till…
Played it an hour this morning. It looks great, but what the point if the world is as interactive as a screen saver? Sounds like a pointless waste of everybody's time. I'm not a fan of all these "interactive experience" lately. In all these games you are playing as a loser who came to the party that's already ended a week…
ambitious_nomad: Thanks man, yeah low poly will be fun Turista: Thanks! Oniram: Appreciate it! So here is my WIP2... I made the battle chair a bit smaller and added new armor to him. I wanted him to be able to move his shoulders! Still a lot of refinement with the yetis fur. Next update will include that and a detailed…
Surprisingly fun, fut also surprisingly crackdown with a lightning skin. I didn't have enough time to study the world clearly, but something felt 'off' and cartoony to me. I'm not sure if it's proportions or textures that's doing it though. Each individual prop looks realistic for the most part... but as a whole something…
I have to say I'm not a big fan of the graphic.. The individual parts do look quite good ... from time to time.. but the composition is not mine.. because it trys to look photoreal but fails to come close to. so I would have loved to see a more stylised approach.. but anyway.. the game itself makes a lot of fun.. and with…
