Hahaha, gotta love b1ll's posts. Even back on the ColdFusion boards he was a riot and a damn good artist. Stop squawking about cursors and post some more art ya nut job. It's a poor craftsman who blames his tools. And no, no one knows how to change the cursor.
i don't think it's too unstable if the art direction is going to match your concept. from what i can tell, this looks sort of steampunk era/miyazaki esque. think howl's moving castle, not exactly the most stable design. it's all about the lolz, especially if the scientist is a nut
I love pickles in a very non-sexual way. If everyone was like me, there'd be constant random flip outs that include screaming, smart ass answers to everything, and way more wacky laws. (like outlawing people that wear socks darker than their shoes... drives me nuts)
freaky two days ago I was looking for the old footage and it seems to have been yanked off the net so I give up then this arrives lol .. It looks cool I cant wait for april !! Oh and thankfully good old Josh appears only at the start and the end of the film ...
Man this is always something I tend to struggle with. What has been working for me recently is my huge collection of photos on my hard drive I have taken myself or found on the net. Also having a huge collection of art books and these forums in general are all amazing help.
I'd like to learn how to bake intricate models on low-poly meshes and this example by Angela Rico fits exactly what I aim for. How do you bake such a model with all the spaces, holes etc on a low-poly that doesn't have any? As far as my limited knowledge goes it must involve a transparency map but I'd really want to learn…
Couple of rigger/animators I know, especially when working on personal stuff would always help themselves too stock sets of whatever realtime assets from the UE store, for prototyping purposes and yeah those dudes are nuts...drink like fish O_o
yup it's that way:) i can only show it on the net like a render portfolio piece but it's enough for me:) i am rly happy that u like the model, i plan to do some more machines soon for the "sport" and to fill the enormous gaps in my portfolio:)
How can I get in on this?! Seriously, I'd give my left nut to work on the next one. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=699gKEJnoXE"]Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon - Michael Biehn is Sergeant Rex "Power" Colt [US] - YouTube[/ame]
I guess it's alright.....jkjkjk. Amazing work, Jacob. And I also agree with Firebert.. I sat next to Colin (jam-I-am) and the characters and monsters he was making blew my nuts away and he should make a post. JACOB. FORCE HIM.
