Hi! You should get an imageshack account, upload your images there and link the image url by clicking the image icon when you post your stuff! :) clicking through each image is too bothersome.. :P EDIT: seems my browser is on the fritz or something. sometimes i see your thumbnails and sometimes i don't. never mind.. :) -

Hi! I think it would benefit from more story, looks a bit random currently. Like tracks on the ground from the car, smoke coming out the chimney, something hanging over the railing of the veranda, maybe car is partly covered up, ... Particularly the ground could be improved: The pebble texture looks flat, better transition… -

i would render out smaller images for the actual website view that open up to larger images when clicked, rather than using the really big images for both, as they load pretty slowly and are like 2.5mb each. there's no point using a 2.5mb 1920x1080 image on the main page when it takes up a quarter of that space on a 1080p… -

yea got carried away a bit, my bad haha I was searching along the lines of chrome images blurry. The saved files look correct though it's just on chrome that images look off and even then it's not all images but random ones. The images I saved to test I just dragged from the webpage to the desktop so simple .jpg's -
Re: Textures becoming Soft! :(
If you use Resize Image function (Under Image if I recall), you get the dialog box, and with it you got an option called Resample Image. If you scale down, you should put this one at Bicubic Sharper, and it should help sharpen your image when you scale it. If you got it on Bicubic Smoother its going to be blurry. -

Dude. That site isn't even faster than this one. As for compressing all the images, that's not really gonna work. First of all, many people host their own images so you can't fix that. Secondly, people tend to post much more images here compared to a regular discussion forum. Lastly, we are artists, we value nice images. -

Yeah those presets are there for you to quickly apply a group of settings to that kind of surface image. So if you need a normal mapped roof tile, you need to create the diffuse, or use an image. With that as your base you apply the roof tile preset to that image and it will create a new normal map for you, based on that… -

I mean you can measure the image size in centimeters for example. When I view a 1k image in ps and I switch the unit to centimeters, it says the 1k^2 (pixels)image is 36,12 centimeters^2. When I have a one centimeter^2 image and I switch the units to pixels, it says its 28x28 pixels. -

How to reproduce the fine details of the environnement I can expect that rough asphalt like in the image would need to be sculpted in Zbrush, but should fine cobblestones, tiled floors and fine joints in masonry like in the next image be sculpted or can they be reproduced with textures? IMO, the light intensity is too high and your background is almost white the walls textures are too noisy I need to see a larger image to give you more critics! could you please post a larger image?
