Maybe kerosene fire cannot melt steel but it's not like the WTC was composed of only steel and titanium, there were loads of flammable objects inside that could provide a hotter fire. As for the missile, if it really was a missile that blast would have done damage to the plane as well.
lol edit, in case this needs any elaboration: The amount of damage to our natural resources and the portion of land rendered unlivable by all out nuclear/chemical warfare definitely outweighs the potential gains, even if you were being purely sociopathic about it.
Yeah, it is a bit more Metal Slug than SSB most of the time. Melee does almost no damage other than potentially knocking someone off a cliff. It uses gamer tags as names, so if anyone plays against nitzmoff, that of course is me.
This object is a security console damaged and worn. I'm just looking for an overall critique of it to hopefully nail it down perfect. Some renders were done in Unreal Editor 3, but most in 3DS Max 2008. Let me know what you think, good or bad. It'll help alot. Thanks for the aid.
A game model i have been working on, have been toying with adding a damage texture in game, think the glow is a bit much but will keep adding details, need to add some decals like id tag etc... This was rendered with 3ds max using mental ray, will add it to unity soon
Someone with skills ? : P So you wanne say that my stuff is unskilled XD ? My direct reference is still Street Fighter, where all characters are fighting in different combat styles instad of using character based weapons in their normal moves like in Soul Calibur. But that doesn't mean that you can't use the class based…
Sometimes LODs come into the equation. If you construct the geo and UV so you can strip poly and not damage shading and seams drastically, you bascially solve some of this question on a case by case basis. Might be a bit of a pita sometimes, but some things it can be a no brainer.
Great work! Loved the 8k resolution too, but it seems the images are smaller now. Possibly some potential for improvement on the material surfaces of the concrete walls and gate. Would like to see less generic noise base textures and some edge damage. Great work, nonetheless!
Here are some shots of the escalator for that scene. A bunch of stuff is hidden in these shots like the steps / handrails / chains / etc. This is a clean version for a project im working on at the studio. For the ruins scene Ill be taking this model and retexturing and probably doing a bit of additional damage and bent…
sweet!:D Im a big fan of 40k stuff, could use dam standard and flatten or hpolish for some dents or battle damage, aside from that you can check pinterest for zbrush tutorials maybe you can find what you are looking for there :D
