......Render not showing view port mapping! I used the Checkered mapping tool and it was good while i was adjusting my UV's. now that i loaded my UV Material to it, it shows fine in the view port, but the render tells a different story. I know i messed something up, does this have to do with ID's or anything? Thanks Link…
Did you change the latest pic?..I saw the 3/4 view before..Agreed that you model looks better without the cloth. Two things that I still can comment though; front sight and the bolt handle looks not accurate (visible from the 3/4 view). The other looks neat though. Keep up the good progress! _Revel
yea man, keep at it! Got some really nice forms in there! I think it would look more natural btw to have the elbow back further from the side view. This would also give him a bend in the arms like there appears to be from the front view and actually make his arms a bit longer, which I think would be cool.
If you want views then make sure you have something worth viewing. This is not the way. For fuck sake, its as simple as having a mini comp with a "PC" as the prize. No one here would object to a heads up about a comp with a prize. This on the other hand is just lame. If this is the type of creative thinking going on over…
Yo! Thiago Klafke here, sharing updates on my next personal project, "Costa Del Sol"! This environment is inspired by the Costa Del Sol region in Spain. I fell in love with the architecture of this place right away. I love how bold and straightforward the shapes are and how the color pops come from plants, props, and…
With the ever increasing power and improvement with technology, smart phones are able to push more pixels and more polies with each generation. What does this mean to us as 3D Artists? Well it means we can have 3D modeling packages like the iSculptor app for the iPhone. iSculptor is a 3D modeling application developed by…
See the pictures above. The following artifacts show up after exporting from Zbrush (Decimation master), exported as FBX. Even after baked normals applied. Any idea what might cause this? I've tried decimating at different values, changing settings on the normal or baker, cleanup mesh Maya. Thank you very much for taking…
Yeah looking better. Did you install Daz yet? You can place a figure in the viewport, push the pelvis forward a little then balance the figure in the side view. That will give the pose weight. You can also take side front and top screen grabs and place them in your zbrush views as reference. It looks like you are stuck at…
Hey all! Back again. I attempted some posing with the bad rig just to test it out. Even if it was a good starting point, I decided to start the rig over again like said previously, just to integrate the right workflow. So I reused the bad rig as a base, and made the needed changes, plus some additional bones for the Katana…
When you making a face grab more references as just a front image. Side view and 3\4 view is also really important. And yeah work first on the overall shapes ( as you mentioned, chin, forehead, lips etc.) and then start detailing if you want. When you really stuck, you can also start over from scratch to have a fresh pair…
