@obscura yes, definitely. If it were complex chain of events, something like a scifi blast/pressure door with spinning wheels/gears, sliding bars, and the like, I would probably set it up in Max first.
Hello ! I just made the new walk today : - EDIT : OLD - http://i.imgur.com/itv4Xn3.gif Crit are welcome :) - EDIT : quick update, changed the LoL view and fixed the slide problem with the elastic hand. -
almighty_gir, yeah it's mostly for that tool that I was so interested in getting the slides, we're looking into making something similar now. :) Froyok, I opened them all fine with VLC, but they wouldn't load directly in Powerpoint.
looks cool, but how does that camera looking door open? doesnt seem to be a sliding type. maybe add some streaks or some wear and tear at the part that recieves most friction when the door opens?
The mechanism on his left hand is bothering me, it doesn't have any way its clamped down, because the metal is rigid i think it would just slide off. Maybe have it as part of the sleeve ?
unless you plan on having the rear set of tires on his legs rotate 180 or slide down, they're facing the wrong way. at least when you compare him to 20th anniversary Prime's transformation.
I'm trying to achieve the exact same effect seen in the left corner. I have cracked glass pieces modeled similarly, but my technical art side not strong enough to find correct way to do it. I’m struggling to figure out how to get this result.
EDIT : You can get ShapeShifter right here. Hey guys :) For the past months I've been working around 30 minutes to two hours on a project that involves automatic generation of game assets. This thread will be used to have some feedbacks and update the project at the same time :) Keep in mind that i rarely work on this…
try adding some larger highlights on the wood, take the original highlight colour and that brigten it and add contrast to it (slide it left)...when you are selecting colours play with your saturation a bit, dont let it be the same contrast troughout.
i do know of one game in production now that is using real time muscle deformation, with skin sliding.. its unannounced and i don't work for the company making it, but i have seen a realtime demo of it working and it was awesome..
