actually I still tend to smoke when i have a cold. ciggies are around 6 quid a pack in the uk now, a very expensive habit indeed yeah i bought some of those cheap fags in london, its like smoking plastic wrapped in a cardboard tube
Here is an update on my progress. I selected this brick texture from texture heaven: https://texturehaven.com/tex/?c=bricks&t=red_brick_03 My module set is now mostly complete I applied the brick texture to the station. UV wrapping the brick on the station was tedious. I'm glad it's over!
Wow, I love how this piece has come together. It's a huge inspiration considering the fact that I am also in the process of creating an environment similar to this for my portfolio. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing how you decide to wrap it all up in the end
Added some normal detail inside of NDO and finished AO production. Haven't added Normal detail to the Handle/Grip yet as I think I could do a better job creating a custom DDO material that incorporates it, and then letter DDO wrap it around the object. ColorID next, then materials time!
This weekend I wrapped up a personal project I've been working on on weekends and late nights after school. You can see more images on my Artstation page as well as a quick tutorial on how to clean up a scanned head and make it into a game asset: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/kKmXl
Have you tried using sellotape to get rid of dust? That's what causes the bubbles to happen in the first place. What i do is wrap some tape over my fingers (adhesive part facing outwards) and use it to pick up any dust i see on the screen or screen protector.
slipsius - Thanks for the tip! So do you get one character to a final finished state before moving onto the next or do you get each character to a 'solid' state before you move on and then wrap everything up at the end and address any notes you may have. Thanks.
borderlands is first person diablo, floating numbers and grinding weapons and all, wrapped in a fps skin. at the fundamental level rage is a shooter; the game doesnt fuck with gun accuracy or make them magically do less or more damage when you pick up a palette swapped version of the same gun.
What he ^ says. You could just wrap the leg armor a little more around and leave the inner legs exposed which makes a bit more sense. Cool stuff and if your looking for anything else after this try to make a character that would fit into dota2 that would be a crazy challenge.
all of them really.. they dont read as cloth to me.. maybe make them look a little tighter pulled around the wood? it looks really loose and the crevices in the cloth are pretty deep. EDIT - I cant even find an example of cloth wrappings like that >.< everything i come across is leather :(
