Can anyone suggest some online animation classes or one-on-one animation mentoring for a reasonable fee? I am already aware of resources such as CGSociety, the Gnomon workshop, Lynda and Digital Tutors. I am specifically interested in 3D animation (not modeling) at an intermediate/advanced level.
https://vimeo.com/142832793 I've finally finished my animation reel and will begin looking for jobs! Here is a link to my website which has some video game animation that I've done for the DotA 2 Workshop. (still need to do that resume!)
Hey guys, this is work which I did in accordance to the orders for a workshop dated June 19, 2014 at VTC academy, Hanoi. Hope you like it! Title: Catwoman Version by Dsculpt Studio Country: VietNam Software: 3Ds Max, Maya, Vray, Zbrush
Is there a course/workshops/tutorials in depth where is shown entire process for creating hard surface or characters for games or movies? I want to know all the steps. Because i don't really understand what to do next after modeling in Maya or sculpting in Zbrush
Another environment piece but using a grid instead of a heightmap. I learned to do this from a Gnomon Workshop tutorial and I learned a lot. I'll be focusing on something more original in the coming days.
I think you should check this out (it's a workshop with texture artist that worked on World of warcraft, covers nicely adding details, dept and working with images to create stylized look) Hope it helps.
See I've never gone through the workshop but I know source well. I'm used to manually creating and adjusting vmts and mdls. I'm not sure what the heck it's doing for you in the background.
Can't wait for this, one of the sickest artists in the dota 2 workshop, can't wait to see what u have in store for this! I love the way u used the shape of the awp to block in the owl
Thanks! Here's the finished version on the workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=690358426 I'm a bit unsure if the gradient I added to the end of the barrel works but I was tired of fiddling with it haha
My presentation is at 4 PM on Saturday and I ain't got shit to do after but hang around the workshop area so I will most likely scoop over with my wife, Ike.
