maybe due to most of the monster sword don't have tongue design on that, or normally they'd make it more flesh-ish design for the sword. but your case is more metal/ rock texture 's non-organic looks so normally better with teeth on the sword. well i think so :P
Meeting the first Shambler in Quake 1. Nearly pissed myself. Mind you, mouse look in an FPS game was new back then, we were used to keyboard only in Doom. So when that insanely big monster started to throw lighting around, I practically forgot how to control the game.
I'm a huge fan of mari, that being said. It's not currently viable for game development out of the box. It requires a huge investment by the studio to get it up and running efficiently. Once this happens though it becomes a monster beast of amazing power and speed. Anywho I'm glad to see some steps to filling the gaps.
This week I'm trying to do a series of classic D&D monsters, starting with the Owlbear and the Gelatinous Cube. More as the week goes on. This is the size I wanted them to be "readable" at. Not sure about the Owlbear's feathers. The rest of these are just closeups with the most relevant materials I could find in ZBrush's…
Sorry if I was being a bit unclear I thought occluded was the right word to use in this situation. Monster is spot on about what i wanted to do, And I solved it by exporting my meshes to maya and use the camera based selection tool, worked exactly how i wanted, happy ending.
Neil Strauss: The Game Chuck Palahniuk: Lullabye, Invisible Monsters Neil Gaiman: Anansi Boys, The entire Sandman Series (comics) Robert Jordan (R.I.P.): The Wheel of Time Series (notably the first 3 books). Shame he died before he could finish. Dalai Lama: The Art of Happiness
lol. cool head man, I dig. He's definitely a ladies man with that neat trim and those pearly whites oh yeah he kills monsters with his unrivaled handsomness. I think its friggin awesome, but he's just a bit too human looking for an ork thumbs up
Hmm I might pick it up at some point, havent had much time to play games recently, I realised I have lied of course I have fallout 3 for PS3 and the VATS made that game enjoyable. and I never got bored of watching monsters heads explode.
Monster, yeah I am familiar with that setup (I did something similar with a slim Apple keyboard for while) but it is super tiring. Now I totally understand that a lot of 2d-only artists are fine with just using the Expresskeys and no keyboard ; but the Wacom video showed someone using Maya, and I think that's a bit of a…
googling that monster of a name tells me that looks like the right area but yeah, take my advice with a grain of salt. i'm just offering an unbiased perspective of what looks wrong to me. it's such a shame because the rest of the model isn't that bad but the face really detracts from that. maybe i'm crazy. maybe it's…
