Sorry, 3Ds Max 2011. But the "Absolut Mode Transform Type-In" does not work like that? It positions the vertices from the object and the average distance again. Or am I using it wrong?
hey, do you know a way in maya to switch axis besides going to the actual transform/rotate/scale settings on the right side. Isn't there a way to change that on the fly with the hotbox?
Select half the image, copy and paste it, then Edit>transform>flip horizontal/vertical. Then just use the clone tool to get rid of the seam. But that's probably the same as the offset method basically...
So I am thinking the issue is the mesh itself. I tried the pinch on a cube and it was fine. How might I go about resetting transforms/xform etc. for this model?
My online portfolio has undergone a major transformation and I'm looking for some input. MarcEdwardsPortfolio My main concern right now is whether or not the "contact" page is to hidden, and the number of clicks between the homepage and the actual work.
i just started on this project for my demo reel, it will be an transformation of an normal Mitsubishi lacer EVO VIII into the 2011 CYBER EVO, i'm looking for constructive criticism on how to improve my poly flow, thanks :D
It may be just your initial cylindrical object before you did the hole .The one that you think has perfectly ok shadings without artifacts. But yes, in many cases its easier to transfer vertex normals from hi poly object. Baking usually assumes per pixel baking into textures. It's not what I mean . I am not Maya user but…

I changed from Mac to PC two years ago and had the same concerns. Most of my software is multi platform (Modo, Substance, Mari, Nuke) so I could just download it for the appropriate platform. For Zbrush I was told to find a person who wanted to swap from PC to Mac and then Pixolgic would handle the transfer of the licences…
