Here's link to my boards. - https://www.pinterest.com/PyrZern/ Lots of things there. Cool concepts, photography, 2d and 3d tips and samples, anatomy (front, back, male, female, face, etc.) clothing, songs, ballroom dancing, etc.
haha thanks. I was referring to the actual levels that are included with UDK like the Deck etc. I was going to put to place it within a actual level and state that all of the assets other than mine were owned by Epic etc
Site is down it seems, and chrome did the same to label it as malicious etc etc. Last time i checked the only thing they had on the page was an email address for job applications. :) edit: btw, how was respawn.com not a taken domain? :)
I think this is pretty good. Nice meshflow and definatily a very promising start. One question,do you intend to put this into Zbrush/Mudbox or anything like that,or is purily a max/maya/silo (etc etc) exercise? John
I have to agree with this. Even the UT3 artbook was kind of a disappointment, Epic should learn with Bethesda, the Fallout3 artbook is pure win! It has a wide range of concept art, from weapons, environments, characters, props, etc, etc.
haha Lamont... my setup is: Dell 27 - horizontal, on the left for 3dsmax, toolbag etc. Dell 23 - vertical, in the middle for code, some websites, skype etc. Cintiq 22HG - horizontal, on the right. vertical code monitors are so lush.
Great selection of Heroes this time around. I'm going to jump in with Tide, update the cannon i have and base a set around it. I'm thinking, netting, rope, old glass fishing floats, fish, shells, scales etc etc.
I could see mini contests for the project, like the group saying we need some basic props like fire hydrants, telephone poles, etc etc, best entry submitted in a week gets the asset in the final project.
I look at games as any other hobby you might have (mountain biking, skating, movies, outdoors, etc) If you spend a lot of time on it, it will make you unproductive on the rest of "life" (work, family, etc). Discipline, that's all.
I don't understand, you could so easily get a job at a major game studio, have you ever tried that? Or is it not possible b/c of your location etc. Or do you only want to work in films etc?
