You've been working on this for 3 months Mr. Brommell. You NEED to wrap this up so we can make a condensed tutorial and list it for all the world to see! This is amazing stuff and wealth of knowledge to learn from here! Kudos!
don't just rotate the eyes, they are not angles to the side, but form fit around a round eye ball, although the outer edge does wrap around further, maybe put a sphere in the scene to represent th eye ball, and use that as a guide,
Serious. They'll either grind it back, or wrap the dev team into another. Either way it would be good to see some of the Soft innovation creep into (certainly) Max... Max, Maya, XSI, F/R, Alienbrain, Mudbox, Cat... serious.
If I had seen this about 4 weeks ago, I would've never paid any mind to it :poly124: Probably one of the easiest ways I would ever be able to go about showing someone what it UV wrapping is. Thought I'd share
Long time since I posted, but I guess I finally have something to show. We at Grendel-Games have been working hard on the release of Diamond-Dan and finally it is on Steam. I am proud of our little achievement :) . I have worked on the main characters and some of the traps in the game. Also did a bit of art-direction.…
try flattening your armor object with an xform modifier. skin wrap the pattern to it and then remove the xform modifier. the pattern should follow it as it returns to its original shape. havent tried it but it might work. (am using maya at work atm or id test it :( )
Hi guys, I made a few updates since yesterday, I'm getting pretty happy with it so I think I'm going to start wrapping up unless I find any major problem or I get any good suggestions!
Just in time for the season to end. I'm glad we can finally stop watching Shane's Walking Dead. It's hard to believe there are a dozen other characters on the show after nearly a whole season wrapped around Shane "Ticking Time Bomb" Walsh.
Nice character man, was fun watching you sculpt this on hangouts. The only thing I'm noticing at first glance is that the wraps around the wrist is looking a bit bumpy. This reads more like a organic material, as opposed to fabric. Looking forward to the next update!
Hey ! Nice progress here. One thing I'd point out is that the eyelids should be thicker. They are really layers of skin with tendons/muscles inside that are wrapping around the eyeball. Ref : http://grandvoyageitaly.weebly.com/uploads/3/7/2/7/37277491/6024287_orig.jpg
