You could try the polish brushes, sPolish brush is what i use to make surfaces smoother and less wobbly. Sometimes it's useful to make a morph target so you can restore parts of your model with the morph brush.
Hmm okey i found the morph targets thingy. http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/MorphTargets.html but it seems more or less for facial animation.. im looking more att doing a object. say a square squash and stretch.. if anyone has ideas.
Hey Mike, your modeling is solid but i feel presentation needs work. It would be nice to see breakdowns, wireframes, texture pages, material setup. Also it isn't clear if you're targeting vfx or games in your portfolio. -Ryan
If you store a morph target, the layer brush will only sample from the stored surface depth. As a result you can get something like this just be changing the z-intensity (higher value strokes will be on top of any lower ones).
NICE! That's awesome! I think everyone else (like me) just gives up. Just so I understand, are you using a composite map in the diffuse slot? And then using viewport canvas to target the blend mask of the top layer?
Ah I see! Unfortunately I didn't change the export target under UE4 hence I mistakenly made spec/gloss maps  I've made the changes and everything is working fine now, thank you!
Can I also yell at Apple about how, every time I update Itunes, it removes the Target & Start In information from my Itunes shortcut, rendering them useless, and forcing me to recreate them? EVERY TIME!?
Butchered statement [ QUOTE ] EA Chicago has no expectation of hitting our profitability targets until FY2011 or later. It's important that you understand that we are willing to take creative risks and make long-term investments in people and projects. [/ QUOTE ]
From what I understand you define not a tree by itself but a rule to create trees with a certain random variation? Is that any different than creating a set of morph targets to vary the appearances of characters as seen in most MMORPGs and that "Republic" game?
Nice guess, but no. Actually I work in a mobile games company, and there is some market research done here.. PPC is a platform we'd been planning to target but never did, and now that I'm going indie, I see it as the most profitable.
