yup the g36 is made from fibreglass composits, it even if banged up alot it will not look like a ar15 of any kind. a friend of mine has several RS G36 partslying around, you find some scratches, but they looks like scratches/rashes on plastic. Personally, i´d add some slight noise to the spec map, as the surface is pretty…
I agree with Jordan, slight hue change to the Mountain and slight bleach to the fortress it's self. The nice thing will be at night I could imagine this popping out more because of lights coming from the fortress its self.
Thanks for your input :) Is this what you imagined? This is white background + simple white studio light skydome. And this is white background but with the more "emotional" lights from the original version (blue and orange) with a slight vignette.

Hyundai Ioniq - older version) 5 I think) rendered in cycles Blender 4.2 I tried a different lighting set up here. HDRI set on 10 intensity( will vary depending on HDRI) provides most of the reflections - sunlight with a large radius, so it provided some overall lighting, but I turned off the specular contribution , but…
For what it's worth, this has been annoying me for the last few months so I did some digging and debugging and found out that the culprit was indeed the virtual shadow maps and that I could see the clipmap/mip level issues in the debug view. Directional light popping: Debug view: For the directional light, I edited the…
This is a very exciting contest and my second one to enter to date. Beauty and the Beast is probably my favorite animated Disney movie of all time. So mine will be closely related to that.
