This is a very exciting contest and my second one to enter to date. Beauty and the Beast is probably my favorite animated Disney movie of all time. So mine will be closely related to that. In my version, I picture the beast reflecting on his past actions or staring off into the future contemplating if he will escape his current plight.
This is my first block out. I am not good at drawing so I just kind of create a feel of what I want in 3D. I am still learning many things about mood, lighting, and shapes so these are subject to many changes. I mainly like the eyes in this version. The face was stolen straight from a snow leopard, which is one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. I have started sculpting and am now taking the character in a different direction that is less feline. Good luck to everyone else participating in this contest!
