I've done this before, but I don't have z-brush in front of me at the moment. I belive you can import your texture into zbrush and use the fix seams button. Then export it again.
Hi Guys, This my first time here. :) I would like to show you a work that is is progress, the "Barrio Guy". It portrays a street bully. Still under development, but let me know if you have any comments. Thanks! Z. Here it is:
Most likely it is too late for you but maybe this will help someone else as I was struggling with the similar problem. This happens because sometimes 3dsmax can't recognize which is the mirror bone so it picks the same one or a wrong one. In mirror mode you can see blue, green and red bones and red ones are those who…
Ah yeah, I used this tecnique for the weed in my Far Cry 3 scene for VG Remix. If you do it black to white, you basically have a z-map. Add some highpass to that and you get a great AO approximation.
You could do it in ZBrush. Grab a black and white render of your shadow, make yourself a fairly dense plane in Z, project the silhouette on as a mask and then delete the remainder. Alternatively, you could project it into the Shaodowbox thing to generate your mesh.
You can use the layer displace Z slider in the layer panel. Just make sure you have the right layer selected and you can displace it in the depth axis. Sadly there's no way to just "average" them all out, AFAIK.
I think it's because the uncompressed and BC5 formats' Z value has to be calculated in the pixel shader. I've had this problem before (because I don't like compression artifacts :P), good thing I remembered how I fixed it.
Yeah. Its looking very nice. This is the perfect program for ppl who dont have Zbrush and prefer mudbox. Altho this program is awesome to everyone. Looks way nicer to retopo in here than in Z. Nice work Cristi. Keep going!
That is the worst list Ive ever seen.... How about bushnell? and Mark Z? Did he ever create a game, or just create the platform that let people place their games on? All those facebook games could easily be on a different website.
Back from beautiful Boulder CO, Here's some hand and belly button action I squeezed in last night, I hope to get the base model done this week so i can start z-brushing. I'm Itching!
