This my first time here.
I would like to show you a work that is is progress, the "Barrio Guy".
It portrays a street bully. Still under development, but let me know if you have any comments.
Thanks!
Z.
from what i can analyze from this is that his left arm is in his pocket and very close to his torso..however his right arm is also close to his torso.. for a better silhouette maybe move his right arm away and have it do another action but also keeping the line of action of his body.. i hope you understand what im trying to say..
love your style zeoyn, a couple of really picky things:
The creases in the back of the left knee seem a little deep for my tastes, almost as though they are cutting into the leg, and the shoe appears to be touching down on the floor rather early and then curving upward giving the impression of short feet....if that makes sense?
I would be really curious to see what it looked like if you scaled the hand a little and made it bigger. Not too much but just enough to give it some more weight and power. Might not work, but it should be quick to try and see if you like it.
Either way this is awesome, great work, can't wait to see it finished.
haha awesome. Looks like a maquette. I especially love the graphicness of the cloth folds. That noise filter kinda distracting and flattens out your edges.. Yeah would love to see a texture paint.
Really like this guys chiseled out look. I think the trapezius/skull connection needs built out more, right now it looks too harsh of a transistion and my eye get hung up on it. Way cool, cant wait to see where you take it... put a doobie in his hands:)

duxun>I am posting more views so that you can check the pose from more angles. Thanks for the input
Raider> Maybe you're right, I have to check the definition of the rib cage

Here goes the light setup and view:
Are you doing an in-game version or just gonna texture/render the sculpt?
and I was reminded of
Yes, I am texturing the character.
I will just create the high poly version, no ingame character
Thank you so much for all the feedback!
Here is the finished piece. I hope you like it!
