Looking fun man, through, hopefully you're planning out smoothing out some of the snap. If everything is a static snap pose, it looks choppy. Looking forward to seeing this wrap up, if you're keen, I'd like to use it in the rig demo video when I make the rig public.
it was hilarious. Great fun with all of them. Pior wrapped it all up very well, allthough he forgot to add the "table screaming" Yes, we do have photoevidence , poops got them all so we will get to see them when he´s back home.
To each his own i guess! :) I just like to be challenged by trying to dig out the knowledge myself, rather than by memorizing tables and rules. Then again, i can't wrap my head around simple math tables, others much prefer that over intuitive problem solving.
sick, got it!! (after hours of tweeking/learning the settings) still got a weird ghost collision around the box - you can still see the effect in the bottom right wrapping around the box - but I just hand edited the spline after the sim to get it to place right. -many thanks
Hey everyone, i've finalized my finished shots and scene in UT3 and am going to wrap this up and move on. Thanks a ton for the feedback and help, and thanks again Vig for the resources you hooked me up with as well. Definitely life savers. The total scene tri count is 120,534 Tri's
It's quite simple really. I start off with a plane and I go to the brush tab and set the wrap mode to anything above 0. If it is set to 1 and lets say i make a stroke to the right, if i keep going it will continue tot he left side so it becomes seamless.
really nice stuff, ive never been abel to wrap my head around Marmoset, it always gives me wierd lighting and no matter how much i tweak it i never get a smooth feeling. Really like how you got it all to look so natural.
I think it looks pretty good. my only problem is with the dirt chunk that it sits on. something about it is really jarring when compared to the rest of the piece. Maybe if the dirt transitioned into rock or faded off with transparency rather than wrapping around. But other than that it's great, the stump in particulars…
Hey Polycount, this is my first post of my work up here. I'm pretty new to character modelling so any tips and feedback would be brilliant. I'm currently trying to wrap my head around all that Zbrush 4r6 has to offer. This is a character that I'm modelling for a personal project at university. She's based off of a…
Seems like an update is coming up. New sneak peek video. http://vimeo.com/19482938 So far the video just shows how mirroring will be handled. Hopefully Topogun implements some of the tools already found in 3D Coat and Wrap It. From what Cristi said, the beta will start in February and the upgrade will be free for people…
