there have been some slight movements here in Australia not to mention the SEGA stunt lately by passing AVP with a 15+ age verification (impressive on SEGA's side but way wrong). What they need is to add a 18+ label and have adults be able to buy also 18+ content just like alcohol, movies and certain gear.
Coxy: More like 15. There are 2 different plants, the 2nd one is behind "space sofa". (Plus Bathroom is visible through glass on the left so even more if you don't plan on hiding that.) Material/ texture plan is (more or less) done. [purple assets will share "unique" map.] Now onto the blockout.
Day 15 Not much to post today. I've been learning Maya thanks to some online tutorials, done some painting and I bought Grasseti's anatomy class and it's the best anatomy stuff I've ever watched. And the Ecorche, omg. So torso study and some legs. Tomorrow I'll focus on hands and feet.
hes retiring but left a way out to make a 5th indiana jones movie. Not really sure how I feel about that. I LOVED the first 3 Grew up on that.. the fourth, I really enjoyed until the last 15 minutes or so.... hopefully if he does make a 5th, he wont ruin it.
Hey! Take a look here: http://www.raylightgames.com/2010/05/sneakpeek-xrayunwrap-15-rc1/ It's call the X-Ray Unwrap, a real time saver! You'll just need to select your seams and they'll unwrap your mesh automatically. I've been using it and it helps a lot! And it only cost 13 euros! :)
The people who are really good at keeping secrets won't even tell you they have a secret. Some of them could keep a secret for 15 or more years, forever really. So there's no point in worrying about it. That info only exists in one person's mind. All you can do is be suspicious that they have a secret.
Hm, what kind of settings do you use, @EdHanley? I can't imagine waiting even 15 minutes for an AO bake, personally, let alone 4 hours. Doubt my computer could handle it either. Is the quality difference your settings give you that noticeable to warrant such a long bake time?
Talking with the other instructors at Mount Ida, tenure was always a super long shot. If you're there for something like 15 years, maybe. The chair of one of the art departments was busting her balls for years, and just on the cusp of getting tenure, she was basically working crunch hours for several years. Not sure if…
I went to AIP..back in the stone ages..been out of school for 15 years and still paying for it...was it worth it: No. You can put together a kick ass portfolio and learn everything you need to know without putting yourself in debt... just my 2 cents..there is a forum full of differing opinions on the subject
