1) As far as I know, B is the better option because it is only the pixels that are marked as transparent that cause the problems. The worn paint at the mid-line of the doors feels unrealistic. Cars just don't wear like that. As far as 'next-gen' is concerned, PC vehicles in PS4/Xbone games will be measured in the hundreds of thousands of polys.
