The models have to share the same space for projecting (and baking). If they don't then projection is going to be a mess. And when they share the same space you shouldn't have to touch the blur setting, distance value, or cage settings. You could just reimport the reworked AO map too, if you don't want to lose what you already have. DDO's reimporter is pretty solid even in 1.8, where many bugs abound. :) Yes, by rendered AO I mean having a program render the physical model into an AO map - doesn't matter which one does it. xNormal is fast if you use GPU… -

So, according to the crits that were given, I've boosted the wall heights (from 128 to 160) and lowered the railings (from 64 to 52-ish).
