It's not "out of the box" for any of these, including max/maya, but the concept is really so basic that all you need is to strap together a simple tool to offset the module's transforms based on the difference between it's otherwise default transform in relation to the other module and the "attachment node's" transform....…
Farfarer is right, texture calls is not draw calls. If you put 2 shaders/materials with the same texture they will still render 2 draw calls, but only one texture call on memory.
So If i wanted to use vertex paint. I could only either use 4 diffuse or 2 diffuse and 2 normal or any combination of 4 texture samples? Is this correct?
Congrats on another fine release Riki. I will buy this like the others and thank you again for maintaining a quality that is high with these releases. What will part 2 be? and is there only a part 2 in the works?
yeah SDK will be badass :D can't wait !!! the 2 new campaigns are, I think the 2 missing ones in the versus mode, I'm curious however about the survival mode :D
Cant think of much current games that come with support for custom stuff. But starcraft 2 might be interesting? I hope crysis 2 will have a easy pipeline to get custom characters in it.
ooooo. ill be getting this for sure. i got forza 2 and it was pretty sweet, except i bought it like 2 years after it came out so there was nobody playing online.
Oh but you have to watch season 2 to feel the impact of what's going on in season 3! Season 2 was slow....but if you watch them all back to back it is so worth it!
