sorry if this seem like kind of a thread jack but i was just wondering if its required to have a ipohone/ipad to start developing for the platform? anyhow keeping a track of this thread since im also very intrested in developing for the mobile platforms with UDK. cant wait for the android support!
Hmm not quite sure what is causing this. First thing that comes into my mind is the merge vertex operation in the script, but that one works on a 0.01 value, which is super small. Can you send me your mesh (or just a part of it) for me to try it on ? Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience ! :/
No sorry, I meant, using mudbox to extracting texture maps, instead of using xnormals. Getting my normal, specular, AO, etc from mudbox itself. It seems to have alot going for it rather than xnormals. Low poly would be tied to the high poly though.

Hi, sorry I'm late but everything as been petty much said/trolled in this thread :) except for this. at the time i would only have proudly point to my own maya shader, but nowadays a lot of realtime shaders does it, it became a pretty common tech ;) ( Xoliul's for max )
oh sorry, i should have pointed out that only one leg in pictured there, its a tripod coming from the base. Yeah i started to notice unintentional similarities to the sw droids after i had scaned it in. I'l have to give em' a look, thanks!

This looks really nice! Good design, neat textures and really cool render! I am sorry the contest got cancelled... One thing I would suggest is taking off the fisheye camera in your final renders because it makes the silhouette looks a bit weird..
Sorry I didn't had the time yet to look into the project you sent Tzur_H. I will do it as soon as possible. On which hardware do you guys run your projects ? Working in 4K can be very demanding in resources. Does the freezes happen on every project ?
