I set a Max style navigation for Blender 2.8 for myself. It's only Max viewport navigation and focus selection with Z , noting else. Rename it to anything.py (couldn't attach it as .py) and import in edit>preferences>keymap>import
More progress. When i actually move on to leg armor and boots should i build that in another package (i use c4D) then take them in to Zbrush to refine or can it all be done in Z?? opinions? Thanks :)
Off the top of my head, it's nothing to do with Max being z-up instead of y-up is it? Any options to change Max's native axis anywhere? Valve use Maya these days, which is y-up.
If your model is z-fighting like that in Max and there is no duplicate geometry, check the size of your model. Only really large or very small models have that issue. And if the size is okay, then update your video card drivers.
not sure exactly what you're wanting to do from the pic but it's a safe bet alt+z is the answer (action center > element). With symmetry on. The workplane can also be applicable in cases like this, if you haven't looked in that yet.
I like how dramatic you wrote it, can really hear it as a voice over for a trailer. "This summer... Get ready... For an experience so terrifying it's been the most talked about Horror in years... Dragonball Z: The reckoning!"
I believe the convention with IK joints in maya is to add pole constraints so the in-between joints orient properly. One question though, why only on the Z axis? I think that would look rather strange.
I've never used this but I'm guessing iMFlipY is import-flip-Y and eMFlip-Y is export-flip-Y. Try turning those off, or turning the Z ones on. (don't know which is up in ZBrush, varies)
I'm confused. So you Z Sculted all this, baked it down, and THEN asked for crits? Shouldn't you have asked for crits at the Zbrush stage and then after getting those used what you got and then baked it down?
