I think Rhythm & Hues did almost all of the CG for Narnia. I think Weta Workshop (their practical effects company) did the props. I really liked the Hobbit as a book much more than LOTR, so I would love to see a move, but I have no idea why they would go with another director.
Er, I wouldn't write that out. A lot of people can touch a lot of props. IMO keeping it general (see above) allows you to talk about the scene so you can point out what your tasks on it were, and which artwork is not yours specifically. Or, you can work through the headache and do this on every image: Scene dress by: Dick…
Character art is incredibly brutal, most of the time there are only a few positions and they are highly coveted internally and externally so competition is fierce. Typically there is no "good enough to land an intern spot" its either sink or swim. It's also probably the 2nd easiest thing in production to farm out, so a…
Area-F Environment : Development Diary https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ybvr25 Hello everyone again, I wanted to share a job I did a few months ago for the school where I study, I created a documentation to accompany the work and I would like to share a little of that documentation by creating a post on this page. + 0 to…
Ups.. didn't see this before posting in "How the f.." .. But found almost the same model  Hmm.. how do analyze usually any form.. and yes "simplifying" a form and subdividing it "later" helps. Verse looks fine as a language - i watched a talk on it a while back and it has some features I think are a really good idea for this application. If you're doubting epic's ability to invent a language for making unreal games you should probably just stop - they've been doing it forever. as far as UE6 goes... I don't think…
The settings I generally used it for (eg, selecting the gpu to use etc.) are handled properly by windows now but the control panel does appear to still be present on win11 - perhaps they got pushback and left it there or perhaps i misread something. I'm probably not on latest but im likely on the one before that
Aw, man. I heard the news. That's unfortunate. Well, there's no point in throwing away all this work I've done. Might as well finish it right? @GOBEE: Thanks for telling me the news. Also, thanks for the complements! @Pinuja: Haha! I guess I should be happy I might've managed to turn someone into an environment artist.…
