You are using Blender, right? I've never used this program before so i've no idea about the material options. In Zbrush there's loads of sculpt material options to choose from to find a good one to display details well. Maybe blender has various choices too? But i guess every person has a preferred material for…
I #sculpt with ZBrush #3dprinted with my Flashforge Adventure3 and painted this Mario's mask inspired by TLOZ Majoras Mask Get the model at Cults3d https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/mario-majoras-mask
usually I sculpt heads (almost every sculptural object) in orthographic view in ZBrush. but most of times, the final in-game character will not look like original concept, even if highpoly model was exactly same as concept. I think that is because of difference between orthographic and perspective view. am I right? head…
Heya, PC! Yesterday I posted an astronaut head sculpt/texture and recieved quite a lot of heavy criticism for it, as I should have. I've only ever sculpted a few heads, and said heads weren't the best. Because of that, I spent the last few hours putting this together. This is my first time sculpting mouths and eye-lids. I…
Furthermore, there is no need for sculpting at high subdivision levels when creating blendshapes anyways (besides checking what the model looks like after subdivision). You'll be passed a medium density model that behaves well when subdivided, and the blendhshape sculpting will consist of making the model express various…

Hi guys. So i am back after a long time. I wanted to dive into sculpting again so now I am sculpting a monster. Currently, I have done the face but i needed some technical tips like when I am sculpting a face, the polycount goes upto 7 million polygons so then i have to lower dynamesh value to work but still causes a lot…
I'd say it depends a bit on what you are making. Ideally you want to sculpt from a perfect base mesh made for sculpting then retopo/rebuild a optimized low poly mesh that doesn't lose any of the silhouette and bakes well. Attempting to uprez a optimized low poly mesh and sculpt on it usually doesn't lead to the smoothest…
