W00000! finally back on track. I guess i had moved some verts w/ preserve UVs turned on then moved something else around. After messing around with it for a while i just said screw it, re-unwrapped it, rebaked and retextured the blade. Next.. add some darnage. -

Yea, Nick that drives me nuts. I also hate how typing in skin weights recalculates the other weights almost as much as it guessing to move it "close enough". At least lie to me and say you move it where I wanted I probably won't care if its off by .000001 by don't tell me about it... The only way I've managed to get around… -

thats the default behavior, it shows how much the first bid you set in the UI is, when there are no bids. Once there is a bid, it raises to what the person bid. its a little confusing, but lets someone know what you set the min bid as instead of showing 0, and being surprised the min bid is 100000 -

its really surprising how high the polycounts are on some of the latest mobile games at one point recently we had more than 100000 triangles on screen and our game still ran ok on ipad and iphone 4s. I may not be able to post most of my mobile stuff in this thread anymore haha -

I would say it doesn't really matter. Show that you're a good artist first and foremost. Show fundamental understanding how how materials work. Show understanding of your modelling/texturing skills, and understanding of materials and surface properties. Showing you understand anatomy/skintones is a lot more important than… -

well he sayed he's just trying to get it done and not focused on detailing obviously he thinks i detail is one of the last things to do but i guess if you made each object detailed then put it in the room then it will be easier than going through all the rooms later on and putting the same detail on the pillars in each… -
