I am looking into face mocap options and I would be glad to hear what other polycount users used or have knowledge on available systems :poly145: I will add that I look on this systems from Maya user perspective, so Maya plugins are a plus for me, as I would prefer to stay on Maya an avoid adding Motionbuilder or any other…
It doesn't really irk me, I even recognize animation packs that I myself have used... but some indie teams just don't have the capacity/bandwidth to alter content. If it all fits together nicely, then no biggie, it only becomes a problem when it's obvious.
Hello everyone, Its been a while since I posted something here. I wanted to share a model I've been working on. I really fell in love with hand painted characters (really hand painted anything) and its what I've been doing the most. I created a monster and his weapon from Hob, the upcoming game from Runic Games to practice…
That is an amazingly unique (and cool) running animation! It potentially feels a little complex/noisy for a simple running animation, but that's me personally thinking as much. The only way to make it simpler is if the rock was a big smaller and simply 'appeared' below him, via earth/ice based powers. Or maybe if he had…
You could use the Animation Window within Unity Editor and animate your camera by hand, using keys and such. similar to most animation stuff you know of. After that you can save it and get an animation file, just use this to play the flythrough ;)…

And here is some extra retouching I've been doing, while learning a bit of Mari for hand painted textures! And a little animation... This is the unholster animation, and the idle loop. I'll go on with adding some more animation states, and put all togetther in a little interactive animation in unity!…
FOR ANIMATORS! After finishing my blockout I'll release a download link. If an animator wants to use my model for the contest, you can use the blockout to create a rig and animate. Later during the challange I'll release my progress so you can present your animations with my final model! :)
Hey Torque You've probably read through this page, but if you scroll down to the "$animations" section it will give you some info on aligning animations to the first frame of other animations. Can't say I've tried it, but it sounds like it could work for you since you mentioned that not all of your anims are backwards.
