I would love someone to make a toolshelf that dock at the top. The sidebar is a pain in the ass for me most of the time, and it gets cluttered really fast. It would be nice to be able to have tool shelf icons ala Maya.
The GUI has always been drawn as vectors, and resizes to fit whatever space you carve out for it. I doubt that will change here. Also, it always looks like whatever you want it to look like. Example - Here's a GUI I just carved out to demo that. I have the 'buttons window' (as named in Blender) scaled at all different…
You'll need to use the Channel Editor to show/unlock any attributes that don't show up in that list. It's one of the items in the menus at the top of the Channel Box/Layer Editor sidebar. As for rotation, that's actually a "tool" setting - double-click the Rotate tool on the left (or bring up the Tool Settings window some…
Chris provided a good critique of your work. I'm just going to point out some stuff about your portfolio itself. 1. Remove the giant photo of you and that sidebar, and move all of that info as well as shorten it to a condensed summary to a separate page (about, info, etc). Keep it simple and professional. 2. Place all of…
The following may depend on whether you want a blog or a portfolio. Also, if you are using the free hosting you won't be able to edit the templates, so you'll not be able to drop the sidebar. In the top menu, drop the 'Home' link - thats handled by your title and everyone knows the title links to the front page. Don't…
Hey everyone this is a project that I was working on for some time now. it is a set of tools and modifications for Autodesk Maya that will speed up your work drastically. I tried to simplify Maya, make Maya smarter to help you out in many tasks as well as adding new features and tools. this first release is mostly focused…
LoTekK.com I recently got around to redoing my portfolio site, and figured since there's already a trend of portfolio reviews, why not put mine up for the slaughter as well? My main computer's currently dead and in servicing, so I'll only be able to make minor changes til it gets back in a few days, but any crits and…
thanks for suggesting that, we've added it to the planning :) right now though, we want to maximize quality before we go full all-platform, if you know what I mean. But the suggestion is very much appreciated and noted, thanks :) I also have a shoutout to the community: We need another indie game of the week! last week…
It's me again. I hope everyone's holiday season was good and spiffy. Mine was as much fun as it was productive. Low poly modeling for the "bike" part of the motorcycle project is for all intents and purposes done, aside from minor changes due to feedback I may get. With all the necessary faces deleted, the model comes out…
Update time. So here he is. The whole thing is at 1870 tris while the time traveler and his camera weigh in at 1128 tris. I'm a little worried about his shoulder joint though. Somehow I think the topology could still be improved there. Any tips? I've also been thinking about adding a sidecar and having that be the the time…
