Is there a function or script in 3dsmax that can be used as the 'transfer attributes' function from Maya to transfer details to a base mesh? This is particularly handy for Marvelous Designer when transferring details.
Where should I put or what should I do with the material functions? Because its saying "missing material function" Strangely they are all on the material function list, but they aren't working. I copied them to the engine's material function package too, but still nothing. :(
thats a recursive function... and its making my brain hurt looking at it. recursion is when a function calls itself usually to handle nested tasks like searches or math functions.

I need help to get rid of the extrude function on the move gizmo in Maya. Every time I move an object, I accidentally click on “extrude” and end of extruding faces when I don’t mean too! It’s been driving me crazy.. wondering if there is a way to get rid of this on the move gizmo?

Ahh nevermind I was getting expressions and functions mixed up. I've found the function, now to learn what this does. Is this function required in order to fix the problem or were you just using it in the example?
